Q: Is Kitenga a good place for a romantic weekend away

A:Yes it is an ideal location for a romantic weekend away. While Kitenga is attached to the main house there is no internal access and it is designed to give maximum privacy. We provide a special breakfast served in the unit that you can enjoy at your leisure. The view and atmosphere is ideal to relax and soak up the environment.  And there are plenty of beautiful walks or you can enjoy the swimming pool or spa. There is also a great DVD/home theatre system if you want to enjoy a DVD.
When booking, ask about our gourmet dinner hamper and we can also provide special lunches on request.

Q: What are some things that are special in the Clevedon area?
A: Clevedon is home to polo and there are polo games on most weekends during the summer. See the Auckland Polo web site for further information. There is some great information about Clevedon on the Clevedon web site One of our favourites is a walk in Duders Regional Park, which is a peninsula situated on the Tamaki Strait with breathtaking views of the Hauraki Gulf. This historic farm park has numerous walking and riding tracks from which to see the wonderful variety of birdlife.
